Job summary

Labviva, a growing e-commerce marketplace for scientific products, seeks a Senior Fullstack Engineer to advance the core purchasing platform for researchers and suppliers. In this role you will shape end-to-end solutions, with focus on security, maintainability, and performance across frontend and backend components.

You’ll contribute to search, data pipelines, integrations, and analytics features, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.
• History of leading initiatives and delivering stable, scalable products.
• Experience owning technical and functional areas and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Ability to drive enterprise-grade features using modern technologies.
• Strong frontend expertise and supporting infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for new features and platform enhancements.
• Mentor teammates and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advocate for best practices and modern tech to improve product and developer experience.
• Ship daily code across frontend, backend, and integrations.
• Build frontend components and architecture to support user tasks on the site.
• Develop backend services and data pipelines to power the marketplace.
