Lyra Health is seeking an exceptional Sr. Software Engineer to join our team.

This role can be based at our Burlingame, CA headquarters, or worked in hybrid or fully remote mode from anywhere in the United States. You will design, develop, and deploy Python and Java-based APIs powering our core product, collaborating with product management, data science, and behavioral health specialists while upholding high standards for quality and security.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications, ideally using Python or Java/Spring.
• Experience in developing and deploying multi-tenant web applications.
• Experience building scalable REST APIs.
• Must be highly proactive and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Create lasting impact by building and continuously improving our Python and Java-based APIs.
• Work within the engineering team on designing, developing and deploying APIs that power core product functionality.
• Collaborate with product management, data science and behavioral health specialists.
• Ensure that best practices are adhered to during all phases of software development.
