Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in software development.
• Distributed Systems Architecture: design and implement robust, high-throughput microservices with a focus on safety and security.
• Safety-Driven Mindset: prioritize user safety, data integrity and policy compliance.
• BS in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or another technical field.
• Curious to learn new technologies and grow your skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead end-to-end safety systems and tooling lifecycle.
• Cross-functional alignment with Operations, Product Managers, and partner pods; translate pain points into scalable architectures.
• Define architectural direction and integrate AI methodologies for moderation.
• Design and scale shared moderation primitives (compliance, QA, traffic routing, workforce management, agentic AI labeling).
• Drive multi-quarter initiatives and align teams for adoption of core safety applications.
• Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and propagate best practices across the safety platform ecosystem.
• Partner with Engineering Leadership to define technical priorities; report to Manager of Safety Applications.
