Pearson is expanding the engineering capability behind OnVUE and is hiring experienced full-stack engineers to design, build and operate enterprise software using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and REST APIs.

We have opportunities for senior individual contributors and for engineers who can blend hands-on delivery with squad leadership. You will own technical work from design through delivery, mentor peers and help modernise the platform while supporting remote work across the United States.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on full-stack capability across Java, Spring Boot and Angular.
• Experience designing and delivering complex distributed enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver complex, distributed full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and REST APIs.
• Build and operate highly available, scalable enterprise applications.
• Mentor engineers and review technical work, promoting engineering best practices.
• Support release planning, observability, and security.
