Job summary

Trusted Space, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer with a bachelor’s degree or higher and 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications. The role emphasizes Rust or C++ (C++11+), object-oriented design, and a collaborative, agile development environment.

Responsibilities include leading a small team across the full SDLC and contributing to Rust applications, with a remote US work setup. A Top Secret/SCI background is desirable.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in software engineering or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Rust or C++ (preferably C++11 or newer).
• Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments (Mostly Linux).

Responsibilities

• Supports product milestone objectives to include software development in a collaborative unclassified environment.
• Assists in the review and evaluation of systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
• Leading a small team of high performing developers across the full software development lifecycle.
• Comfortable contributing to Rust applications.
