Job summary

Upbound is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and operate Upbound Spaces, the core control-plane management software for the Upbound Platform. You’ll scale production environments, optimize multi-tenant operations, and extend enterprise control plane management both in cloud and on prem.

You will write Go, interface with the Kubernetes API, and contribute to Open Source projects like Crossplane. This role suits engineers who excel in reliability, observability, and customer-focused

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade cloud services at scale.
• Strong debugging with distributed systems and observability tools.
• Experience writing Go code interfacing with Kubernetes APIs.

Responsibilities

• Actively build and operate Upbound Spaces in production, troubleshooting multi-tenant SaaS environments.
• Own features in high demand and deliver new functionality for customers.
• Investigate complex customer environments and performance bottlenecks; write design docs.
