Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support and enhance our product suite and collaborate with senior developers and offshore teams. You will resolve complex software issues, document design and operations, and drive continuous improvements across the development lifecycle.

The role requires 4–5 years in software, 2 years of healthcare data experience, and strong SQL/ETL skills. This is a remote position with opportunities to mentor teammates and influence product quality.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 4-5 years of industry experience.
• Must have 2 years' Healthcare data experience.
• Proficiency with large datasets.
• 4-5 years' experience with relational databases.
• 4-5 years' experience with ETL processes.
• Optimization and tuning of SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• OOAD understanding.
• 4-5 years' experience with Java or .NET frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance high quality software modules for Cotiviti product suite.
• Analyze and resolve software issues from customers.
• Document specifications, design, features, and operation prior to production rollout.
• Mentor other developers and collaborate with offshore team.
• Adhere to Cotiviti SDLC and contribute to process improvements.
• Communicate technical issues to engineering and leadership.
• Explore new ideas to improve efficiency and results.
