Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Sr. Support Engineer to maintain and enhance software components within the Cotiviti product suite. The role involves collaborating with developers, offshore teams, business owners, and project managers to deliver reliable solutions.

You will analyze complex problems, apply QA practices, and document designs while ensuring timely, on-budget project delivery. The position is remote and focused on scalable, high-availability systems within a healthcare data environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or technically related discipline.
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Linux based environments.
• 4–5 years' experience with Java frameworks.
• 4–5 years' experience deploying changes using automation tools (Jenkins, Octopus).
• 4–5 years' experience with IT automation tools (Ansible) and/or scripting languages (VBScript, PowerShell).
• 4–5 years' experience with databases and/or data processing pipelines.
• Skilled in Agile and SCRUM development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess how automated systems can be implemented to solve complex business problems.
• Analyze and resolve software and process related issues from customers.
• Apply software quality assurance practices throughout the SDLC.
• Document specifications, design, features and operation of applications.
