Job summary

TeamWorx Security, LLC seeks a Senior Software Developer to design and build AI-enabled tools for a federal government client. You’ll replace manual processes with practical software across teams, balancing new development with modernization of existing tools.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 12+ years of software experience; master’s degree with 10+ years also considered. Remote US work with clear stakeholder collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 12+ years of software development experience.
• Master's degree with 10 years of experience also considered.
• Full-stack ability across front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs, databases, and deployment.
• Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, and SQL, and experience building applications that integrate with cloud services and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications, automation, and integrations using Python, JavaScript, Google Apps Script, APIs, cloud services, and modern web frameworks.
• Move quickly between projects, teams, and business areas, delivering useful capability within short engagements.
• Work with government stakeholders to define requirements, propose options, iterate on designs, and ensure solutions meet operational needs.
• Build data-driven tools, dashboards, and interfaces; integrate AI and automation where valuable.
• Deliver working software in short Agile sprints, including testing, UAT, production support, and modernization of existing tools.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility, security, and federal compliance requirements and document work for future support.
