Job summary

NEOGOV is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design and deploy Microsoft ASP.NET based software solutions within our SaaS product suite.

You will work with product, project, implementation, and support teams to deliver innovative and efficient software. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 60 months experience in full-stack software development.
• In lieu of primary requirements, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science and 36 months experience in full-stack software development.
• Must have proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Angular, .NET Core, .NET Web APIs, SQL, and MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Conduct software development with product, project, implementation and support teams to evaluate user needs and provide technical solutions with time estimations.
• Perform software development lifecycle activities including analysis, design, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain SaaS applications using C#, .NET Core, Web APIs, and Angular.
• Maintain Web 2.0 interfaces with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.js, Backbone.js, HTML5, CSS3, and LESS.
• Translate designs into responsive UIs with cross-browser compatibility and performance.
• Suggest architecture and UI improvements and migrate to new technologies.
• Review database objects (SQL, MongoDB) and optimize performance.
• Ensure unit test coverage using Karma and Jasmine.
• Lead design sessions and produce technical requirements and diagrams (UML).
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to ensure consistent user interaction.
