Job summary

NEOGOV is hiring an Architect for a remote role across the US and Canada. The position combines hands-on development (50-75%) with architectural leadership (25-50%). You will design features in C#/.NET, review code, drive CI/CD, and champion observability.

You will also define the architectural roadmap, ensure SaaS performance, and mentor teams. Required are 8+ years in software development with C#, .NET Core, Angular, and 3+ years in tech leadership within a SaaS setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive software development experience with C#, .NET Core, SQL, and modern Angular (v18+)
• 3+ years as Software Architect or equivalent in a SaaS company
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; cloud-native microservices
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, DevOps practices
• Ability to present to technical and executive stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Write production-ready code alongside teams — hands-on role.
• Design and implement complex features, services, and platform capabilities in C#/.NET
• Review architecture and code across multiple product teams for quality
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines; drive Docker/Kubernetes containerization
• Mentor architects and developers; promote Agile practices across teams
