Job summary

Grupo QuintoAndar is seeking a Software Engineer to own end-to-end software delivery for corporate teams, shipping backend services, integrations, and user-facing components. You will collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to scope solutions, design robust architectures, and drive delivery across SaaS integrations.

We value English fluency, cloud experience, and a proactive mindset in a remote-first, hybrid environment across Brazil, with options for São Paulo offices twice a week.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or Python.
• Comfortable taking a product end-to-end—backend services, integrations, and user-facing pieces.
• Strong understanding of database design and evolution.
• Skilled in creating RESTful APIs and integrating third-party systems (SaaS, internal services).
• Experience designing and evolving software architecture from the ground up.
• Experience with software monitoring, observability, and performance tracking.
• Solid fundamentals: version control, testing, deployment automation, code reviews, and design docs.
• Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English; most communication occurs in English.
