Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead Edifecs-based EDI processing in a remote capacity. You will administer, configure, and optimize Edifecs components, including XEServer, XEngine, TPM, and SpecBuilder, while coordinating with EDI Analysts and DevSecOps teams. The role requires deep EDI experience, AWS proficiency, and strong communication.

A U.S. citizenship is required for this 100% U.S.-based remote position, with security clearance eligibility and a focus

Qualifications

Edifecs architecture and transaction lifecycles knowledge required.
Strong AWS cloud environment experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Hands-on platform architecture understanding across Edifecs components and related modules.
Experience with EDI integration, AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS channels.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform and EDI processing.
Configure and maintain XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder, and related modules.
Build, deploy, and optimize Edifecs rules, routing logic, and batch workflows.
Analyze and resolve mapping issues, validation failures, and performance bottlenecks.
Manage JVM tuning, logging, and certificate/keystore configurations.
Support deployments, environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades.
Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, Cloud teams, and business units.
