Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer to optimize and manage the Edifecs platform in a remote role. You will configure XEServer, XEngine, TPM, and SpecBuilder, and drive EDI processing with AWS cloud capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles.
• Strong experience in AWS cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Hands-on understanding of Edifecs XEServer, XEngine, TPM and SpecBuilder.
• Experience with EDI integration, AS2/FTPS/HTTPS channels and API gateways.
• Experience with EDIFECS troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate architecture decisions to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform for reliable EDI processing.
• Configure and maintain XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder, and related modules.
• Build, deploy, and optimize Edifecs processing rules, routing, and batch workflows.
• Analyze and resolve mapping issues, validation failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Manage system logging, JVM tuning, and certificate/keystore configurations.
• Support release deployments, environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, Cloud teams, and business units.
