Job summary

Flexera is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our 100% remote engineering team. You will design and develop scalable software solutions that power our Hybrid ITAM and FinOps platforms, working with C# and JavaScript, AWS and other clouds, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value to our customers.

You will report to the Head of Engineering and help keep our services secure, reliable, and up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
• Strong knowledge of C# and JavaScript
• Significant experience with at-scale public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, NUnit)
• Infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with Linux administration
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, secure, testable software
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Review and debug code
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve products
• Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies
