Job summary

ProsperOps is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team on a 100% remote basis. You will design and develop scalable software that delivers world-class cloud savings outcomes, working with a Vue.js frontend and a .Net Core backend, and AWS services.

You will report to the Head of Engineering and tackle complex challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality, security, and performance in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Senior Software Engineer with proven track record.
• Experience with C# and JavaScript.
• Hands-on with at-scale public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, NUnit).
• Experience using monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch).
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Linux system administration.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, secure, testable software
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Review and debug code
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
