Job summary

Capital Blue Cross is seeking a Software Engineer III to build, maintain, and enhance a proprietary clinical data analytics repository. The role reports to HQ in Harrisburg, PA and may be performed remotely from states/metro areas allowed by policy.

You will plan and lead projects, coordinate with customers and IT, analyze business problems, and develop innovative solutions while adhering to PMO guidelines and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years IT experience with data analytics and healthcare data formats.
• Experience with HL7 and FHIR data standards and clinical data formats (CCD, ADT, Labs).
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools: C#, Node.js, Python, SQL, and REST API.

• Plan, lead and oversee projects using PMO guidelines to meet due dates and budget.
• Coordinate with customers and IT; understand requirements and ensure satisfaction.
