Job summary

Snapsheet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Customer Vendor Management (CVM) team, driving the evolution of our claims engine. You will build customer self-service experiences like online claim reporting and photo capture, and create vendor integrations with repair shops, appraisers, and other partners.

You’ll design APIs, work with Ruby on Rails and React, and help scale the partner ecosystem while embracing AI tools and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, math, software eng or related STEM field.
• 5+ years full-stack web development with backend strength.
• Experience designing APIs and relational DB schemas.
• Familiarity with React/TypeScript and Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• AI tools/AI SDLC experience is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and a drive for quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer self-service experiences like online claim reporting.
• Build vendor integrations connecting carriers with shops, appraisers, and partners.
• Help shape estimating, appraisal, and total loss functionality.
• Ensure partner ecosystem scales and runs reliably.
• Collaborate with CVM team to deliver high-impact solutions.
