Veroa is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and ship features for client projects in a fully remote setup. You will leverage AI-assisted coding tools daily and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable web applications and APIs.

A strong background in modern languages, databases, cloud infra, and CI/CD is essential. The role emphasizes high-quality code, security, and performance, with opportunities to influence architecture and tooling across the engineering

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on, day-to-day experience with AI-assisted coding (Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot).
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern language (TypeScript, Python, Go, Java).
• Experience building and scaling web applications and APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, cloud infrastructure, and software design principles.
• Experience with Git, testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Clear written English and strong async communication.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and ship high-quality features across the product.
• Use AI coding tools daily to plan, write, test, and refactor code while reviewing AI-generated code for quality, security, and correctness.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code and take part in code reviews.
• Work closely with product and design to turn requirements into well-built solutions.
• Design and maintain APIs, services, and data models.
• Monitor, debug, and improve application performance, reliability, and security.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical documentation.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and engineering workflows.
