Job summary

Velora is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build an AI-native platform focused on CRM, donor management, and reporting for nonprofits. You’ll own end-to-end development from prototype through production, guiding architecture and delivering secure, scalable features.

You’ll lead with judgment in an AI-driven workflow and mentor teammates to raise engineering excellence. You’ll collaborate with Product and engineering to break work into increments, design across frontend and backend, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer, including 2+ at senior level.
• SaaS product experience preferred.
• Experience leading complex full-stack projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Own high-impact projects end to end, from prototype to release and post-release stability.
• Partner with Product to clarify customer outcomes and plan increments.
• Work across frontend, backend, infrastructure and data to deliver complete features.
• Design secure APIs and data models, protect donor information, coach teammates on secure practices.
• Run an AI-native workflow: direct coding agents, review output, stay accountable for changes.
• Own quality and release readiness with tests and production verification.
• Shape technical direction through designs balancing business needs with scale.
• Improve team outcomes via code reviews, mentoring and reusable patterns.
