Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience across the software development lifecycle.
• Experience developing APIs and distributed services with Spring Boot, FastAPI, and REST.
• Experience with modern front-end development, preferably React.
• Experience deploying solutions in Azure or GCP or similar cloud environments.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and infra-as-code practices.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and modern data integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of microservices architectures and scalable design patterns.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of enterprise software solutions.
• Design modular, scalable, secure, and maintainable applications and services.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, and standards.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST.
• Develop modern UIs using React and related frontend tech.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Azure or GCP, incl. containers and Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence across teams.
• Lead application modernization toward cloud and service-based architectures.
• Implement robust testing strategies (unit, integration, performance).
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
