Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Qubit team, building reliable, scalable software that supports 24/7 warehouse operations and client integrations.

You will collaborate with engineers to deliver robust tooling, public API development, telemetry, and analytics. The role offers mentoring opportunities, hands-on engineering, and influence on architecture across sites for major global brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency with public APIs and OAuth.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and .NET languages (C#, F#).
• Git proficiency and CI/CD familiarity.
• Exposure to hardware integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient code following best practices and standards.
• Conduct code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster growth.
• Collaborate with Cloud Infra Engineers on architecture and deployment strategies.
• Define and contribute to SLOs and SLIs for core features.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams.
