Job summary

AutoStore is expanding its software engineering leadership with a Senior Software Engineering Manager for the Supervisory Control Platform. You will guide delivery, drive architecture, and align cross‑functional teams across Product, Architecture, Controls, Cloud, and partners.

You will lead software teams delivering the AutoStore platform end‑to‑end, ensuring scalable design, high quality engineering practices, and strong cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

10+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in a software development leadership role.
Experience delivering complex platform, middleware, or distributed systems.
Strong delivery planning, dependency management, and stakeholder communication.
Experience delivering APIs and backend services across multiple systems.
Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid architecture.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop software engineers and team leads with ownership and growth plans.
Own delivery planning, prioritization, execution tracking, and risk management.
Establish and improve planning, estimation, sprint execution, and release readiness.
Partner with Product, Architecture, Controls, QA, DevOps, and customers to align roadmap priorities.
Drive disciplined execution across requirements, testing, and production readiness.
Oversee design and development for the AutoStore platform with scalable architecture.
Lead secure, reliable connectivity between on-premise systems and cloud services.
Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to ensure alignment on direction and standards.
