Job summary

Searchability Aerospace & Defense seeks a senior software engineer to design and build high-performance, distributed systems for real-time signal processing in government applications.

You will contribute across backend services, APIs and data pipelines, mentor peers, and lead architectural decisions in a TS-cleared, US-citizen team. This on-site role emphasizes scalable, robust software in a modern Linux stack.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong C, C++ and Python development experience.
• Experience developing software on Linux using Git and Agile processes.
• Active Top Secret clearance and US citizenship.
• RabbitMQ, NATS and AMQP messaging.
• REST APIs, OpenAPI and contract testing.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and ArgoCD.
• GitLab, Nexus and SonarQube.
• Prometheus, Loki and Grafana.
• AWS, VMware and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Ansible, Packer, Terraform and Rancher.

Responsibilities

Senior software engineers build intuitive user-facing applications, scalable services, database architectures and robust data integration pipelines, supporting systems from initial design through deployment and operational maintenance.
