Job summary

Wabtec Corporation's Digital Intelligence Surface Transportation software group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive technical development for the AIM product line. You will design and implement software, collaborating with the team to meet project milestones.

The role emphasizes building scalable software with strong knowledge of design patterns, RESTful APIs, and hands-on experience in Java, C/C++, C#, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in building scalable software, including design, implementation, debugging, and support.
• Knowledge of design patterns and Restful API patterns.
• Experienced with applying data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design, to solve challenging problems using at least two of these languages: Java, C/C++, C#, Python.
• Experience with agile software development principles and practices, particularly Scrum.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
