Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive software development for the AIM product line within the Digital Intelligence organization. You will design, implement, and support scalable software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery against milestones.

Requirements include a BS in a related field, 7+ years of hands-on experience, knowledge of design patterns and RESTful APIs, and proficiency in multiple languages (Java, C/C++, C#, Python).

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Software, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in building scalable software (design, implementation, debugging, support).
• Knowledge of design patterns and RESTful API patterns.
• Proficiency in at least two languages: Java, C/C++, C#, Python.
• Experience with agile software development principles, especially Scrum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
