Job summary

Wabtec's Digital Intelligence group seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead technical development for the AIM product line. You will design, implement, and support scalable software, delivering robust code and collaborating with a cross‑functional team to meet milestones.

You will apply design patterns, RESTful APIs, and OO design across Java, C/C++, C#, and Python. Agile/Scrum experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, Software or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in building scalable software, including design, implementation, debugging, and support.
• Knowledge of design patterns and Restful API patterns.
• Experience with applying data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design, using Java, C/C++, C#, or Python.
• Experience with agile software development principles and practices, particularly Scrum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
