Job summary

Raytheon Huntsville is seeking a Product Owner for an agile Modeling and Simulation program focused on Missile Defense Agency needs. You will lead design, prototyping, development, and integration of capabilities using C/C++ in a Unix/Linux environment.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance and onsite presence in Huntsville, AL, to coordinate technical, cost and schedule performance and engage with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Requires typically a STEM degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with C++ and OO design in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Strong data structures, algorithms and concurrent systems know-how.
• Experience leading or managing a team and interacting with customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototyping, software development, integration, test and analysis of new or enhanced system capabilities.
• Support SDLC phases including requirements, design, development, test, validation and maintenance in C/C++.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance in complex environments.
• Write and maintain documentation for software architectures and designs.
• Participate in product reviews and ensure engineering standards are met.
