Infleqtion, Inc. is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development and productization of software interfacing with quantum hardware. You will own frontend React/Next.js and backend Python/FastAPI, with integration to Rust middleware and embedded systems.

The role emphasizes leadership, modern software practices, and production-ready transitions from prototype to deployment in a fast-paced, hardware-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with React and Next.js frontend frameworks.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar modern Python web frameworks.
• Familiarity with embedded software concepts (device drivers, low-level APIs).
• Demonstrated experience leading software development teams or acting as a technical lead.
• Deep understanding of Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead global software development efforts for quantum sensing products.
• Serve as technical lead guiding day-to-day operations and priorities.
• Plan and execute development milestones with PMs and tech leads.
• Lead daily stand-ups, manage Jira board, ensure sprint goals are met.
• Enforce software engineering best practices: reviews, tests, docs, CI/CD.
