Infleqtion is building brainy quantum computers and seeking engineers to write the software that runs them. This production-first role focuses on backend services and control frameworks used to calibrate neutral atom quantum machines.

You will work alongside physicists and hardware engineers, turning complex scientific requirements into robust software, with extensive Python and C++/Rust work and end-to-end tooling. The role emphasizes hands-on coding and system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a quantitative field (CS, physics, math).
• Production-grade Python and either C++ or Rust experience required.
• Strong discipline: testing, revision control, reliability, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Write, own, and ship production backend services and control frameworks for quantum computers.
• Debug and support all layers of the control stack across real-time to distributed services.
• Build tooling enabling scientists to run experiments independently with minimal translation."
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Work with experimental data including time-series, SQL/NoSQL databases, and image analysis from live systems.
