Qualifications

• 3+ professional software engineering experience building and owning production systems.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, data modeling, testing, and reliability.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, and domain experts to ship real software.
• Sound engineering judgment about tradeoffs, failure modes, and consequences of the systems.
• Able to work across languages and frameworks as required by the problem.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own production systems that are reliable, secure, and performant under real clinical load.
• Make high-stakes technical decisions with incomplete information and explicit tradeoffs.
• Raise the bar via code reviews, design guidance, and setting standards.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and clinical experts to turn ambiguous problems into well-tested solutions.
• Debug and harden complex systems and prevent repeated failures.
• Contribute to technical direction and architectural decisions for the platform at staff/principal levels.
