Qualifications

• 3+ professional software engineering experience with production systems.
• Depth in one or more modern languages and frameworks.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, data modeling, testing, reliability, performance, and security.
• Experience collaborating across product, design, and domain experts to ship real software.
• Sound engineering judgment on tradeoffs, failure modes, and consequences of the systems you own.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own production systems that are reliable, secure, and performant.
• Make high-stakes technical decisions with incomplete information.
• Raise the bar through code review, design guidance, and standards you hold.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and clinical experts to turn ambiguous problems into clear, well-tested solutions.
• Debug and harden complex systems, with safeguards to prevent repeat failures.
• Contribute to the technical direction and architectural decisions for the platform.
