Job summary

FabricHealth is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own production reliability on the Virtual Care Platform. You will rapidly triage critical issues, perform live data edits in Ruby, and build internal tools to empower Support and Implementations teams.

You’ll lead incident response, improve the admin portal, and create runbooks to reduce future outages while maintaining patient safety and high availability in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, senior level (IC3)
• Deep, hands-on Ruby on Rails expertise with large Rails codebases
• Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills
• Based in the United States due to PHI and production console access
• Experience operating production SaaS, ideally multi-tenant

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of engineering response for production and support issues during business hours
• Diagnose and fix bugs across a large Rails codebase, from quick corrections to root-cause changes
• Make careful live production data edits in Ruby to resolve urgent issues
• Own and improve the admin portal for Support and Implementations
• Build runbooks, diagnostic tools, and documentation for the Support team
• Collaborate with Support, Implementations, and Engineering to turn incidents into permanent fixes
• Track issue patterns and feed insights back to product and platform
