Job summary

CVS Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Analyst, Software Development Engineering to join our Application Production Support team. You will diagnose production incidents, implement fixes, and contribute to stability improvements for Java, Angular, APIs and cloud-based systems serving our PBM business.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in software development, application support, or production support environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-based applications.
• Experience developing and supporting front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications in cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Experience analyzing application logs, monitoring dashboards, and system alerts to diagnose production issues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of distributed systems, API integrations, and application performance troubleshooting.
• Experience working with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement code fixes and contribute to system enhancements and stability improvements.
• Support enterprise applications built on Java, Angular, APIs and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineers, Product Owners, QA and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and expand technical and business domain expertise.
