Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Software Development Engineer to support ITGS operations focusing on Medicare Part D enrollment processing. The role analyzes, runs, monitors, and maintains daily batch operations, FTP, and ETL processes, troubleshooting failures and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely releases.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in production support, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with monitoring tools, batch scheduling, and UNIX environments.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years proficiency with SSIS, SQL, DB2, UNIX, and UNIX variants in a large-scale environment.
• 1-3+ years of working knowledge of Windows' Active Directory, Networking protocols, Batch Scheduling, ETL, and FTP.
• 1-3+ years of experience in application production support (Level 1-3), incident management, and troubleshooting of enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and IT operations processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem−solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot job failures and research business and IT requests.
• Create and schedule jobs and support production activities.
• Assist with release deployments and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Handle requests from internal/external customers, clients, and vendors while meeting SLAs.
• Partner with business, development, and infrastructure teams to deliver projects, system upgrades, and maintenance requests on time and with high quality.
