Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field and at least 2 years of software development experience or 6 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Ability to translate WaaS strategy into design and development decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level analysis and implementation of innovative, efficient, and cost-effective business solutions for multiple platforms.
• Guide engineers in design, development, code testing, debugging and resolution of issues using emerging technology.
• Provide advanced support for root-cause analysis, solution verification and ongoing optimization.
• Mentor and collaborate with other technology areas to implement solutions.
• Use data and cost measures to influence timely decisions and deliver project objectives.
• Build relationships with Wellmark leaders and act as consultant on status, issues, and capabilities.
• Participate in project proposals, estimates and proof-of-concept activities.
• Stay aware of industry best practices and participate in knowledge groups.
• Other duties as assigned.
