Job summary

Talentify is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to design and deliver complex, cross-team features. The role focuses on translating business needs into scalable, high-performance systems and shaping engineering standards, test strategies, and architecture artifacts.

You will mentor engineers, conduct reviews, and drive reliability through optimized CI/CD pipelines, secure coding practices, and mature operating runbooks across platform services.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of software engineering experience with leadership/mentoring.
• Strong front-end and back-end expertise, with one area deep and the other solid.
• Ability to lead design and implementation of complex functionality.
• Proficient in modern web architecture and API design for multi-system use.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-team features end-to-end, aligning with business objectives.
• Translate requirements into scalable, performant systems; propose tech approaches.
• Define engineering standards, test strategies, and architecture artifacts (ADRs, API contracts).
• Mentor engineers, review code, and improve system reliability and maintainability.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, release practices, and deployment reliability.
