Job summary

Rite-Hite Corporation is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to contribute to enterprise-scale integration capabilities, REST APIs, and event-driven data flows. You will design data models, write production-quality code, and participate in code reviews to deliver reliable, scalable software across the platform.

Responsibilities include shaping the agent-first digital ecosystem, ensuring observability, and addressing production issues with durable fixes.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on software engineering delivering production systems.
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging.
Designing and operating enterprise-scale integrations (REST APIs, webhooks).
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Security fundamentals for APIs and data access.
Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript; React front-ends.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Contribute to enterprise-scale integration capabilities, REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven data flows.
Write production-quality code with tests and participate in reviews.
Design and own data models underpinning services.
Help shape the platform toward an agent-first digital ecosystem.
