Rite-Hite, a global leader in loading dock and door equipment, is seeking a senior software engineer to drive integration and platform initiatives. You will develop backend services with Node.js/TypeScript, work on event-driven architectures, and contribute to customer-facing interfaces using React.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering delivering production systems.
• Practical experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, async workflows, and event sourcing.
• Designing and operating enterprise-scale integrations including REST APIs and data pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant direction.
• Security fundamentals applied to APIs, data access, secrets management, and integrations.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development, with React for web interfaces.
• Active use of AI-assisted engineering tools (Copilot/Cursor) with good validation and security judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to enterprise-scale integration capabilities and data exposure.
• Build and maintain services ingesting, transforming, and exposing data.
• Design platform toward an agent-first digital ecosystem for internal/third-party services.
• Write production-quality code on an active delivery cadence.
• Create unit, integration, and contract tests; participate in code reviews.
• Evaluate scalability and maintainability; propose short/long-term options and tradeoffs.
• Support troubleshooting of production issues and implement durable fixes.
• Sustain and support legacy solutions while advancing the platform.
