Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support testing of systems for the Air Force Human Resources Systems Division. The role requires Oracle EBS/SQL expertise, automated testing, and CI/CD integration within an Agile framework.

The candidate will architect automated testing and schema-as-code deployment, manage data hygiene, and ensure compliance gating for next‑gen workflows in a DoD program. U.S. citizenship and a DoW-aligned background are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field with 10 years of experience, 5 in DoW.
• Or, Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 12 years of experience, 5 in DoW.
• Or, 15 years of directly related experience with proper DoW certifications, 8 in DoW.
• Experience evaluating Oracle database code, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, views, and schema updates.
• Experience writing production‑grade database test routines and automated unit/integration test suites.
• Experience developing automated scripts and data factory utilities for synthetic test generation and environment staging.
• Knowledge of Federal and DoW Cybersecurity regulations and RMF practices.
• Secret clearance (required to start).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze documentation for planning, requirements, design, coding, support, and test.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis and proposed solutions.
• Develop software solutions following an Agile SDLC and document results.
• Evaluate and design system specifications, standards, and installation solutions.
• Support information security/cybersecurity policies and best practices in software delivery.
