Job summary

Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Westford, MA. You will develop open-source SONiC NOS for next-gen routing/switching products and provide platform support for Nokia's Broadcom/Marvell-based portfolio.

Collaborate with customers, product teams, and test groups to ensure delivery meets requirements and quality standards on Linux-based platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE; master’s preferred.
• Experience in distributed systems software design for embedded networks.
• Familiarity with Layer 2/3 networking, control/data planes.
• Experience with Linux software development and OS concepts.
• Strong C/C++, Python, and Bash scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop open-source SONiC NOS for next-gen routing/switching.
• Provide platform and software support for Nokia switching portfolio (Broadcom/Marvell).
• Collaborate with customers and product teams to meet requirements.
• Coordinate with test teams to ensure product quality.
