Job summary

Nokia is seeking a Sr. Software Quality Assurance engineer for its IP Division to contribute to the 7750 Service Router family. You will join a team of skilled engineers delivering new capabilities for high-performance networking in cloud, LTE/5G, and IoT contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience with routing and signaling protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP; RSVP/LDP preferred).
• Linux experience and scripting languages (TCL, Python, Perl, shell).
• NFV/SDN and virtualization tech (KVM/QEMU, Xen, VMware ESXi) a plus.
• IP networking testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with networking test tools: IXIA, Spirent, IPerf, Wireshark.
• Strong problem solving, communication, attention to detail, and team work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform development activities for high-complexity features.
• Provide technical leadership and support a small team across features.
• Lead technical discussions on enhancements in own areas of expertise.
• Create architecture parts with focus on performance and scale.
• Drive non-functional requirements within the team.
• Handle complex customer issues and ensure delivery with quality.
