Job summary

NetBox Labs seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong DevOps experience to build NetBox Enterprise on-premises. You will own installation, configuration, and lifecycle management for customers, tackling complex issues unique to air-gapped environments and multi-cluster deployments.

You will design and implement Kubernetes-based HA solutions, extend the operator, and drive releases on a six-week cadence. Proficiency in Rust/Python and tooling is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, or SRE.
• Proven Kubernetes, Helm, and deployment automation experience.
• Experience with multi-cluster and multi-region deployments.
• Strong Python and systems tooling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement HA on-premises solutions with Kubernetes-based control planes.
• Extend and maintain the Kubernetes operator for NetBox Enterprise installations.
• Develop and maintain the operational management console and tooling.
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related DevOps tech.
• Lead six-week release cadence with structured versioning and release management.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to diagnose and resolve deployment issues.
