Job summary

NetBox Labs seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong DevOps experience to build NetBox Enterprise, our on-premises product suite. You will own installation, configuration, and lifecycle management for customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve deployment challenges.

You will design HA on-prem solutions, extend our Kubernetes operator, develop the operations console, and implement robust CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in Rust and Python across the stack is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, or SRE.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and deployment automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and GitOps delivery.
• Strong Python skills for tooling, APIs, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement HA on-prem Kubernetes-based solutions.
• Extend and maintain Kubernetes operator for NetBox Enterprise.
• Develop and maintain the operational management console and tooling.
• Build multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tools.
• Drive six-week release cadence with defined versioning and release management.
• Write Rust and Python across the stack and internal tooling.
• Create documentation and best practices for deployments.
• Occasionally assist customers to diagnose deployment issues.
