Job summary

NetBox Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong DevOps experience to build NetBox Enterprise, our on‑premises product suite. You will own installation, configuration, and lifecycle management for customers, addressing on-prem deployment challenges and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities include designing HA Kubernetes on‑prem solutions, extending our operator, developing the operations console, and driving releases on a six‑week cadence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering and DevOps experience
• Proven Kubernetes, Helm, and deployment automation expertise
• Hands-on with multi-cluster/multi-region deployments and AI-augmented tooling

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes-based on-prem solutions for HA environments
• Extend and maintain the Kubernetes operator for NetBox Enterprise
• Develop operational consoles and tooling for lifecycle management
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and related tools
• Lead six-week release cadence and versioning strategy
• Write Rust and Python across stack including operator internals
• Create internal tooling and APIs for integration testing
• Produce deployment documentation and best-practice guidelines
• Play Engineering Guardian on a weekly rotation to resolve deployment issues
