Job summary

Fastly’s Network Management Platform team is expanding, seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and deploy the next generation of network-config and provision infrastructure at scale. You’ll collaborate with partner teams to set direction and deliver features for a growing global fleet, mentoring peers and advancing DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of related software engineering experience.
• 3 years in containerized apps and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• 3 years automating public cloud workloads (GCP, AWS) and using Terraform.
• Experience with DevOps best practices.
• Proven ability to write resilient Python or another modern language.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver next-gen features to manage and deploy network configuration.
• Design features to support provisioning as Fastly fleet grows.
• Improve software development processes including testing and CI/CD.
• Write performant, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Mentor engineers and foster collaboration within the team.
