Elios, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise .NET applications running on AWS. This remote US contract role lets you own features end-to-end, from design conversations to deployment pipelines.
You will work in a cloud services practice, moving legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures. Expect to tackle monoliths, implement scalable services, and contribute to architectural decisions in collaborative sprint cycles.
Location: Remote (US) | Type: Contract | Experience: 7+ years | Pay: $70-$80/hr
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise .NET applications running on AWS. You'll own medium and large features end to end, from the first design conversation through the pipeline that deploys them, and you'll often be the person teammates turn to when an architecture decision needs a second opinion.
You'll be joining a cloud services firm that helps commercial and public sector organizations move legacy systems onto modern, cloud-native architectures. The role sits within their application modernization practice, working alongside architects and project managers on client engagements where the code has to stay maintainable long after the project wraps.
If you like untangling a monolith as much as you like shipping something new, this role gives you plenty of both.
You'll join a modernization team that works in short, predictable sprints, reviews each other's code, and demos real progress every two weeks. Engineers are trusted to own their features and are expected to have opinions about architecture, not just pick up tickets.
The work is fully remote, and projects span a range of clients and legacy stacks, so no two engagements look quite the same. For a senior .NET engineer who wants to stay hands-on while shaping how systems get built, it's a strong fit.
