Pay: $70/hr

We are seeking a Senior .NET Architect / Engineer to join our technical team on a 1-year contract role with strong potential for extension or conversion to a full-time employee (FTE) position. This role spans multiple high-impact projects, requiring a self-driven, independent technical leader who can design, build, and scale robust enterprise application.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Engineering & Architecture: Design, build, and program high-performance applications from scratch using modern .NET frameworks (C#, .NET Core 8/10), REST APIs, and microservices architecture.

• AWS-Native Cloud Infrastructure: Build and scale systems leveraging core AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB, RDS, SQS/SNS, IAM, and VPC).

• Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Own technical solution design, lead architecture reviews, and mentor engineering peers.

• DevOps & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation).

• Observability & Performance: Drive system reliability and performance tuning using tools like CloudWatch and Dynatrace.

• AI-Assisted Development: Integrate modern AI tooling (GitHub Copilot, Claude, AWS Bedrock) to accelerate software delivery, workflow automation, and code quality.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Advanced .NET Expertise: Deep mastery of C#, .NET Core (8/10), REST APIs, microservices, and canonical data modeling.

• Cloud Architecture: Extensive hands‑on experience designing and deploying AWS-native applications.

• DevOps & Tooling: Strong background in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.

• AI & Modern Tooling: Familiarity with GenAI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and prompt engineering to drive development efficiency.

• Communication & Independence: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to operate autonomously as a self-driven technical owner.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Direct experience with large‑scale digital transformation projects.

• Exposure to AI‑enabled data analysis, visualization, and Responsible AI principles (privacy, bias, compliance).
