Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build NeMo Helix, an open platform for running and optimizing AI agents at scale. You will lead design and implementation for a plugin-based execution framework and Core Platform APIs.

You will mentor teams, drive architecture decisions, and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native environments while shipping high-quality OSS components.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Ability to lead and mentor in a fast, ambiguous environment.
Strong system design skills and reliability focus.
Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

Design and implement an Agentic Execution system for multiple environments (local, k8s, Slurm, on prem).
Provide senior technical leadership through design reviews and mentoring.
Build and maintain Core Platform APIs for jobs, data, secrets, RBAC, and auth.
Extend plugin architecture to allow external teams to add capabilities.
Develop OSS components and maintain high coding standards.
Improve reliability, observability, and performance across NeMo Helix workflows.
