Job summary

Penta is seeking a highly‑motivated Software Engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation Contract - Framework and Tools (MASC-F) OSF development team. You will design, develop, test, and field C++, Java (SpringBoot), and TypeScript+React software for mission‑critical missile‑defense systems in cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments.

This Senior‑Level role requires strong technical depth, proven delivery in Agile, and the ability to work directly with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required; 14+ years experience or 12+ years with related Master’s; or 9+ years with related PhD.
• Secret clearance required; government stakeholder interaction.
• On-site location at Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL; direct labor role.

Responsibilities

• Write high‑performance, secure code in C++, Java, and Java Spring Boot.
• Build responsive front‑ends using TypeScript + React.
• Triage defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive fixes.
